Angle Adjustment for Adjustable Eccentric Block Vibration Motors

This is the core operation for regulating excitation force magnitude (and thus vibration amplitude). Vibration motors typically feature two sets of eccentric blocks:

Fixed eccentric block: Mounted on the rotor shaft.

Adjustable eccentric block: Fitted over the fixed block and rotatable to change its angular position.

Adjustment Principle

The centrifugal forces generated by the two eccentric blocks undergo vector synthesis along the motor axis. By altering the relative angle between the adjustable and fixed blocks, the resultant force's maximum value can be modified.

Maximum Excitation Force & Amplitude:
When the centers of mass of both blocks fully overlap, centrifugal forces add up completely, producing the maximum excitation force and corresponding vibration amplitude.

Minimum Excitation Force & Amplitude:
When the centers of mass are diametrically opposed, centrifugal forces cancel each other out to a minimum (theoretically near zero), resulting in the minimum vibration amplitude.
