Difference between NRV and NMRV Worm Reducer

Same housing, worm & worm wheel, same torque and ratio options.

NMRV: IEC flange input type. Equipped with standard IEC flange, can mount IEC motor directly without coupling.

NRV: Solid input shaft type, NO input flange. It needs coupling, pulley or sprocket to connect power source. Widely used for belt drive, chain drive or double stage combination.

Output side options are identical for both: Single Output Shaft (AS), Double Output Shaft (AB), Hollow Output Shaft.

1. Occupied no space
The space requirement for the installation of the output shaft is considerably large when assembling the motor or reducer. The installation of a hollow - type reducer can form a right - angle with the motor, thus facilitating the miniaturization of the machine.
2.Self locking
For places that require minor holding force, it can save the cost of the braking device, for example, in a slope conveyor.
3.Fast stop
The ordinary gear reducer avallable in market requires 5 - 10seconds stop time. but NRV series product need only 2 - 5 seconds to reach state of still.
4.High accommodation

You can choose from a hollow shaft, a unidirectional output shaft or a dual - output shaft. It is easy to modify, and it only takes one minute to complete the disassembly and assembly of the shaft.

5.High safety

Using a transmission method different from the conventional one, no sprocket pulley is needed and there is no exposed transmission structure, which reduces the risk to the operator.

Quick stop function

For a general gear reducer, it takes 5 to 10 seconds for the stop time, but for the NRV series, the stop state could be reachede with only 2 to 5 seconds.

High safety

The NRV worm gearbox adopts a different way compared with the traditional one that it doesn't need the sprocket and pulley. What's more, transmission structure is not exposed so that injuries of operator could be reduced.

Good protection

Grade IP55 is adopted which has good isolation for dust and moisture.

Excellent thermal conductivity

The NRV worm gear is equipped with the cooling ribs, so that the body has excellent thermal conductivity and low temperature-rising.
