Aluminum RC Gearbox
The production process of Aluminum RC gearbox:
1. Design and Drafting: Using CAD software for 3D modeling, based on the performance requirements of the RC model, considering factors like gear ratios, and determining the details of each component. Once completed, 2D engineering drawings are generated.
2. Mold Manufacturing: Using CNC equipment to process high-strength steel materials to create casting molds, employing milling, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and other techniques to ensure high precision of the mold cavity and core.
3. Material Preparation: Selecting aluminum alloys such as 6061 and 7075, testing for quality, and then placing them into a furnace for smelting. Alloying elements are added, and refining processes are used to enhance the material quality.
4. Casting: Utilizing gravity casting, low-pressure casting, or die-casting methods to inject molten aluminum alloy into molds. Temperature, pressure, and other parameters are carefully controlled to ensure that the aluminum alloy solidifies into rough parts.
5. Machining:
Rough Machining: Using CNC lathes and other equipment to remove excess material from the rough casting, shaping the parts while carefully controlling cutting force and heat generation.
Semi-Finish Machining: Further improving accuracy and surface quality, handling key dimensions, deburring, and cleaning edges.
Finish Machining: Using high-precision grinding machines to achieve design accuracy. After completion, parts are thoroughly cleaned.
6. Component Assembly: Assembling gears, shafts, and other parts according to design requirements, controlling assembly sequence, clearances, and pre-tensioning. Professional tools are used, and quality is inspected during the assembly process.
7. Testing and Debugging:
Performance Debugging: Checking gear shifting, transmission, adjusting synchronizers, and gear meshing to optimize performance.
Load Testing: Simulating the operating conditions of the RC model, testing performance under different speeds and torques.
Quality Inspection: Using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other equipment to check key dimensions, hardness, and internal defects.
