How to choose the right vibration motor?
Application Environment
Explosion-proof Requirements: In flammable or explosive environments (e.g., coal mines, and petrochemical plants), explosion-proof vibration motors must be used for safety.
Corrosion Resistance: In humid or corrosive environments (e.g., electroplating workshops, wastewater treatment plants), motors with anti-corrosion coatings or corrosion-resistant materials are needed.
Temperature Requirements: High-temperature environments require heat-resistant motors, while low-temperature conditions demand motors with good low-temperature start-up performance and suitable lubricants.
Load Characteristics
Load Type: Inertial loads (e.g., vibrating screens, and feeders) require high starting torque, while frictional loads (e.g., vibrating conveyors) need continuous output force.
Load Size: Motor power and excitation force should match the load's weight and size, determined by calculating inertia force, friction force, and dynamic system equations.
Vibration Parameters
Vibration Frequency: High frequency is ideal for fine particle screening, while low frequency suits large particle screening or applications requiring high amplitude.
Amplitude: Large amplitude is necessary for compaction work, while small amplitude ensures precise screening and stable conveying.
Vibration Direction: Linear vibration is used for conveying and screening, while circular vibration suits circular vibrating screens and similar equipment.
