Electrical faults in vibration motors

Fault phenomenon: The motor fails to start or exhibits abnormal vibration after starting.
Diagnostic method: Use a multimeter to check the power supply voltage and inspect whether the motor terminal connections are loose or incorrectly wired.
Measures: Tighten connection terminals, correct wiring errors, ensure three-phase power balance.
Motor winding burnout or short circuit
Fault phenomenon: Motor fails to start, current abnormally increases during operation, motor temperature rises.
Diagnostic method: Use a megohmmeter to test the winding insulation resistance. If the resistance value is below the normal range or zero, it indicates a short circuit or ground fault in the winding.
Measures: If the winding is severely damaged, it needs to be rewound or the motor replaced.
Motor Overload Operation
Fault Phenomenon: The motor current exceeds the rated value during operation, and the motor temperature rises.
Diagnostic Method: Use an ammeter to detect the motor operating current and compare it with the rated current.
Measures: Reduce load to ensure the motor operates within the rated load range
