Irrigation Wheel Gearbox

You can think of it as the "legs" and "gearbox" of the sprinkler tower. It receives high-speed, low-torque rotation from the electric motor (or other power source) and converts it into low-speed, high-torque output through a sophisticated internal gear system, thereby driving the heavy tower truck forward slowly and powerfully.

Extremely high output torque: This is the most critical requirement. A large center pivot sprinkler weighs tens or even hundreds of tons, and the reducer must provide sufficient "force" to pull it.

Extremely low output speed: The sprinkler moves slowly, and a single rotation can take dozens of hours. The reducer's output speed can be as low as a few tenths of a revolution per minute, truly achieving a "creeping" speed.

High reliability and long life: Exposed to wind, sand, rain, intense sunlight, and temperature fluctuations year-round, it must be robustly constructed, well-sealed, and capable of long-term, maintenance-free or minimal-maintenance operation.

1. Large reduction ratio: A single-stage transmission can achieve a very large reduction ratio.

2. Self-locking function: In some cases, when reverse transmission is not possible, this function acts as a natural brake to prevent the equipment from sliding backward during shutdown.
