The solar motor is also named solar tracking system controlling motor, it is used for solar power generation equipment by rotating the solar panel according to the orbit of the sun. The solar motor has a very low speed, normally 1~3 rpm which accords with the feature of the DC planetary gear motor. Because the reduction ratio of the planetary gearbox can be very large to achieve very low speed.

A1. Solar motor is brushless DC motor specially designed for solar power supply widely used in solar tracker solar water pump and off grid equipment. It features high efficiency low noise and stable performance under variable solar voltage.

A2. We supply brushless DC solar motors with gear reducer for solar tracking system and solar pump motors. Custom voltage power speed and mounting dimension are available.

Q3. Can the solar motor run directly from solar panels without battery?

A3. Yes it can work directly with solar panels. Speed and torque will vary with sunlight intensity. For stable constant speed operation battery plus controller is recommended.

Q4. What protection class do your solar motors have?

A4. Standard IP54 IP65 optional. We can customize protection grade for outdoor dusty humid or coastal environments.

Q5. What voltage options are available?

A5. Common DC voltage 24V 48V 72V 96V. Custom voltage supported according to your solar panel configuration.

Q6. Do you provide MPPT controller together with the motor?

A6. Yes we can supply matched MPPT controller as complete kit or only motor as separate part.

Q7. What is your lead time?

A7. Standard models 7 to 15 working days. Customized motors 20 to 35 working days based on quantity.
