Type Specifications Application
Narrow V-belt (Mainstream) SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC Compact, high load capacity. SPA and SPB are most common in motor and reducer applications.
Classical V-belt (Legacy) A, B, C, D, E Larger dimensions. Used primarily for replacement of old ANSI/RMA standard equipment.
⚠️ Critical Warning: The belt profile must fully match the sheave groove. Mismatch will cause rapid belt abrasion, slipping, and falling off.

Mounting Method: Taper Bushing (Highly Recommended)
For motor applications, the taper bushing (Taper-Lock® or QD®) system is the industry gold standard:

Easy installation/removal - just one or two setscrews, no forcing tools or hammers needed.

Perfect concentricity - reduces vibration and extends motor bearing life.

Reusable bushing - when replacing the pulley, you can keep the existing bushing and only replace the outer rim.
