Components of Bevel Gear Motor:

The bevel gear motor consists of the motor section, reduction section, and other auxiliary components. Here's a summary of its structure:

Motor Section

Stator: Made of laminated silicon steel sheets with an insulating layer to reduce eddy current loss. The windings on the stator generate a magnetic field when current passes through, creating electromagnetic force.

Rotor: Composed of a shaft, core, and windings. The core is made of laminated silicon steel. The rotor windings, under the stator's magnetic field, generate induced currents and rotate under electromagnetic force, converting electrical energy to mechanical energy.

Other Accessories: Includes bearings, end caps, and fans. Bearings support the shaft, ensuring stable rotor rotation; end caps fix and seal the motor, protecting internal components; fans dissipate heat to reduce operating temperature.

Reduction Section

Helical Gear Assembly:

Helical Gears: Teeth are angled relative to the axis, offering high load capacity, smooth operation, and low noise. Typically made from high-quality alloy or carbon steel through forging, cutting, heat treatment, and grinding processes.

Gear Shaft: Supports the helical gears and transmits torque, often fixed using interference fits or key connections.

Bevel Gear Assembly:

Bevel Gear: Conical in shape, used to transfer motion and power between intersecting axes. Available in straight, helical, and spiral types, with helical and spiral gears offering smoother transmission and higher load capacity.

Bevel Gear Shaft: Similar to the helical gear shaft, it supports the bevel gear and transmits power, forming a complete transmission unit with the bevel gear.

Gearbox: Made from cast iron or cast aluminum, it provides strength, rigidity, and houses the gears. The gearbox includes ribs for structural strength and heat dissipation, with oil channels for lubrication and cooling.

Other Auxiliary Components

Input and Output Shafts: The input shaft connects to the motor's shaft and receives power from the motor; the output shaft transmits the reduced power to the external load, often featuring keyways or splines for connection.

Seals: Includes oil seals and O-rings to prevent lubricant leakage and external contaminants from entering the motor.

Lubrication System: Composed of lubricating oil, pumps, filters, and coolers to reduce friction and wear, enhancing component life.

Couplings: Connect the motor to the reduction motor's input shaft and the output shaft to the external load, transmitting torque, compensating for alignment errors, and buffering vibrations.
