NMRV Gearbox Manufacturing Process
1. Raw Material Preparation:
The body is made from ADC12 die-casting aluminum alloy, the worm shaft is made from 20CrMnTi alloy steel, and the worm wheel is made from ZCuSn10P1 nickel bronze alloy. Additionally, prepare seals, bearings, and other accessories.
2. Part Manufacturing:
Die-Casting: Melted aluminum alloy is injected into a mold under high pressure, then cooled and solidified to form the rough casting of the worm gearbox.
Machining: The worm shaft and worm wheel are turned, milled, and ground, including machining the outer diameter, end faces, keyways, and tooth profiles to ensure dimensions and precision. Other components are either machined according to specifications or sourced as standard parts.
3. Part Treatment:
Aluminum Alloy Body: Sandblasted to remove burrs and oxide scales, followed by anodizing or spraying for corrosion protection.
Worm Shaft: Heat-treated to improve hardness and toughness, with surface nitriding or hard chrome plating for enhanced wear resistance.
Worm Wheel: Aged to relieve internal stresses, followed by grinding the tooth surfaces to improve meshing performance.
4. Assembly:
Cleaning: Parts are cleaned with a cleaning agent to remove impurities.
Component Assembly: Bearings, worm shafts, worm wheels, and output shafts are assembled in sequence, ensuring correct installation precision and clearance.
Debugging: Lubricating oil is added, and the gearbox is manually rotated to check operation. An empty load test is performed to verify operational parameters are normal.
5. Testing and Packaging:
A comprehensive test is conducted to measure torque, transmission efficiency, and other performance parameters. The appearance is inspected, and once approved, the gearbox is packaged and shipped out.
