NMRV series frame Worm Reducer is a new generation of worm gear reducer based on WP series. It has advanced square box structure and high quality aluminum alloy. It was shaped by "high pressured whole casting" technology. "Small, light, fast cool, good-looking" are its specialty. 

Components of worm reductor:

1. Housing: Cast Iron

2. Gears: Worm Gears, 1 stage
3. Input Configurations:
Solid Input Shaft Motor Flange - IEC B5

Worm Gear Materials

The worm gear, being the driving component, requires high hardness, strength, and wear resistance. Common materials include:

Alloy Steel (e.g., 20Cr, 40Cr, 45CrNiMo)
Surface treated with carburizing and quenching (hardness HRC 58-62) or high-frequency induction hardening to improve wear resistance. Suitable for high-load and high-speed applications (e.g., industrial machinery).

Carbon Steel (e.g., 45# Steel)
Heat-treated (hardness HRC 25-35) with a low cost, suitable for medium to low-load applications.

Stainless Steel (e.g., 304, 316)
Highly corrosion-resistant, but requires surface nitriding to improve hardness. Ideal for food or chemical processing equipment.
