The fountain gearbox is specially designed for artificial fountain and music fountain, it is made of stainless steel material, and has the features of rust and corrosion proof. The gearbox is installed under water.

The stainless steel gearbox from ANG is characterized by its special housing design and the use of high quality stainless steel, recesses that can collect dirt and liquid have been eliminated as much as possible. Its surface is easy to clean and highly resistant against acids and alkalis; widely applied in salt spray, dusty, high temperature, and extremely wet environments to prevent any form of corrosion. 

What is gear motor?

Simply put, a gear motor is an electric motor coupled with a gear head. Gear motors use either AC (Alternating Current) or DC (Direct Current) power. In most cases, the addition of a gearbox is intended to limit the speed of the motor's shaft, and increase the motor's ability of output torque. Gears actually transform shaft speed into torque at specific ratios, with minimum efficiency losses, making it possible to create the ideal torque output and speed by adding the appropriately sized and configured gear box.

What Are the Different Gear Motor Types?

The two most common gearmotor types are right-angle gear motors and inline gear motors:

•        Right-angle gearmotors use worm, bevel or hypoid gearing.

•        Inline gearmotors typically use spur gears or planetary gear sets.

Of these five gear sets or gearings, the most common are worm, spur and planetary.

Gear motors can be purchased with a variety of AC (alternating current) or DC (direct current) motor types. They also come in many reduction ratios to accommodate a vast number of applications such as automatic door operators, food & beverage equipment, and robotics.
