1. Based on the Installation Method:
Horizontal Vibration Motor
Installed horizontally, with the excitation force directed horizontally. Used for vibration feeding and conveying, such as in the feeding section of a mining ore dressing plant, where the material is vibrated to move forward horizontally.
Vertical Vibration Motor
Installed vertically, with the excitation force directed vertically. Commonly used in vibrating screens and platforms, such as in construction vibrating platforms that help form precast building materials.
2. Based on the Method of Generating Excitation Force:
Single-Shaft Vibration Motor
It features a single shaft with eccentric blocks at both ends. The rotation of these blocks generates centrifugal force, creating vibration. Its simple structure and low cost make it suitable for small vibrating equipment, such as small laboratory vibrating screens.
Dual-Shaft Vibration Motor
This type features two parallel shafts with eccentric blocks at both ends. The shafts rotate synchronously in opposite directions, with the centrifugal forces from the eccentric blocks either combining or canceling to form complex vibration trajectories. It is used in large screening equipment and offers high efficiency and precision.
3. Based on Protection Level:
Standard Protection Vibration Motor
Has a low protection level, suitable for environments without dust and with normal humidity, such as vibrating screening equipment in small indoor food processing workshops. It is cost-effective and practical.
Dustproof and Waterproof Vibration Motor
Has a high protection level, marked with IPXX codes, providing dust and water resistance. It can operate reliably in harsh environments such as open-pit mining and chemical outdoor applications.
