How to improve solar power efficiency?

Normally, solar power is generated using static solar panels, that is, the panels are always at the same Angle.

When using a solar tracking system, the panels can accurately track the sun's path throughout the day, increasing energy output by about 35 percent over standard panels.

The solar tracking system is composed of many parts, including a motor (DC motor, stepper motor, servo motor, planetary reducer motor, push rod motor, etc.), worm reducer, sensor system, etc.

There are four working states of the solar tracking system:

  1. The tracking state of the day under normal (good weather) conditions;

  2. Intermittent tracking. If there is a period of cloudy or overcast weather or bad weather, the system will identify it as unsuitable for tracking and the whole system will be suspended. When the light is right, the system will have a fast-tracking command that aims the tracker roughly at the sun.

  3. Automatic resetting. After sunset, the system will automatically go to sleep and return to the position where the sun rises.

  4. Protection of severe weather conditions: when the environmental wind speed or precipitation and other factors are not suitable for the system to work, the tracker will automatically stop working, and make the smooth surface of the whole system parallel or vertical state with the ground plane, so as to avoid system damage.
